Ashley Ortiz-Gaceta, 31, of Stanford, Ky., passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, Ky.

Born October 3, 1986, in Long Beach, Calif., to Dianna Gail Cummins, she was an employee of Keeneland and O’Charleys where she worked as a waitress.

In addition to her parents, survivors include her husband, David Ortiz; her children, Blayke Isaiah Ortiz-Gaceta and Ashtyn David Ortiz-Gaceta; a brother, Robert Gaceta; a sister, Cassandra Gaceta; her grandmother, Helen Carlyene Adams; and her grandfather, Jerry Earl Cummins.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel, Stanford from 5-8 p.m. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 28, 2018 at Green River Pentecostal Church in McKinney, Ky., with Sis. Brooke Walls officiating. A private family interment will be held at a later date.
