1953-2018

Jesse Ray Jones, 65, passed away Friday, December 21, 2018 at home with his loving family. Born July 29, 1953, in Indiana, he was the son of the late Murel and Rachel Curry Jones. He was retired from R.R. Donnelley & Sons.

He is survived by his wife, Shirlene Sebastian Jones. He loved the Lord and was a member of Crab Orchard Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Rachel Lynn (Brandon) Forsythe of Cookeville, Tenn.; four sons, Ben Ray (Christy) Jones of Bloomfield, Jeremy Ray (Leslie) Jones of Stanford, Joshua Ray (Penny) Jones of Cookeville, Tenn., and Albert (Linda) Thompson; a brother, Eddie (Patricia) Jones of Cave City; a sister, Elaine (Chuck) Purlee of Horse Cave; and 10 grandchildren, Israel, Maxwell, Dylan, Allissa, Levi, Willow, Hannah, Gavin, Whitney, and Heather.

Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Crab Orchard Baptist Church by Bro. T.J. Godby. Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home from 2-7 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Ben Jones, Jeremy Jones, Josh Jones, Brandon Forsythe, Eddie Jones, David Beasley, and Daniel Jones.
