Patricia Joyce Tarter Bailey, 81, of Perryville passed away Tuesday, Jan. 8 at home. She was born in Casey County on November 3, 1937, and was the daughter of the late Delmer and Edith Coffman Tarter. She had worked in insurance for many years. She was survived by her husband, Kyle Bailey, of 30 years. They enjoyed cooking together for their family and friends. She was faithful and dedicated to her Lord and her church, Benton Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Doug (Terry) Wesley of Danville; her daughter, Pam Wesley, of Salvisa; a brother, Bernarr Tarter of Junction City; two grandchildren, Emily (Braden) Paterson of Springdale, Ark., and Rachel (Ty) Gilkison of Oceanside, Calif..; and her caregiver, Frances Walker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Christopher Ryan; and two brothers, Mont and John.

The funeral will be held at Gethsemane Baptist Church in Danville on Saturday, Jan. 12 at 1:00 p.m. by Bro. Kenneth Whitehouse and her son, Doug Wesley. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday at the church. Burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Braden Paterson, Ty Gilkison, Brian Caldwell, Kody Cornelius, Hunter Cornelius, and Anthony Cornelius. Honorary pallbearers will be the Ladies of Benton Baptist Church, Olivia Bailey, Tony Best, Johnnie Bailey, David Best, and Kevin Wadle.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Heritage Hospice.
