Danville-Boyle County Recreation Commission Board — 4:15 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16 in Boyle County Fiscal Court Room. Agenda includes treasurer’s reports; old business of new elliptical and banner and field naming; new business including update policies and procedures, basis of accounting vs. cash, and elections.

Danville-Boyle County Airport Board — 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17 at the airport to discuss general business.

Chambers’ regional  business after hours planned

Boyle and Mercer counties’ Chamber of Commerce regional business after hours will be from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17 at Olde Towne Distillery, 551 Tapp Road, Harrodsburg. Town hall series by new fiscal court begins Jan. 31

The time for the town hall event on Jan. 31 has been changed to 6 p.m. at the Forkland Community Center, 16479 Forkland Rd  in Gravel Switch. This is the first of a town hall series Boyle County Judge-Executive Howard Hunt says he will offer, to include Perryville, Junction City and Danville. The events invite citizens to “voice their issues and concerns” to fiscal court members. Magistrate Tom Ellis will also be present.
