UT Martin names Baxa to honor roll

MARTIN, Tennessee — Brian P. Baxa, highest honors, of Danville was among undergraduate students at the University of Tennessee at Martin listed on the fall 2018 chancellor’s honor roll. To be eligible for the chancellor’s honor roll recognition, a student must take at least 12 hours of credit and achieve a 3.2 grade point average (GPA) based on a 4.0 scale.  Students can make the chancellor’s honor roll with honors, 3.2-3.49 GPA;  high honors, 3.5-3.79 GPA or highest honors, 3.8-4.0 GPA.

Midway University announces fall 2018 dean’s list

MIDWAY — Midway University is pleased to announce the students who have been named to its dean’s list for the 2018 fall semester. To be named to the list, a student must be classified as full-time and obtain a 3.60 grade point average for the semester.

Students named to dean’s and president’s lists at Cumberlands

WILLIAMSBURG — In recognition of academic performance, the office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs at University of the Cumberlands has announced the students named to the dean’s and president’s lists for the fall 2018 semester.

Students named to the dean’s list: Destiny Anderson and Bryan Manuel of Stanford; Trent Bottom and Lauren Sheperson of Perryville; Lindsey Carpenter and Rebecca Wardle of Lancaster; Kara Crawford of Crab Orchard; Kelli Griffin, Alyssa Howard, Danielle Logue, Shawn Wagers and Brennen Walton all of Harrodsburg; Stephanie Haydon and Rebecca Loftus of Danville; Mary Moore of Liberty; Josiah Robbins of Burgin and Anna Vickers of Waynesburg.

Students named to the president’s list: Lindsey Carpenter and Rebecca Wardle both of Lancaster; Kelli Griffin of Harrodsburg and Josiah Robbins of Burgin.

Berry College announces dean’s list

ROME, Georgia — Hannah Draut and Hannah Brunner, both of Danville; Alex Sexton of Lancaster; and Bethany Jackson of Stanford were named to the fall 2018 dean’s list at Berry College.

Wheaton College  students named to fall 2018 dean’s list

WHEATON, Illinois — The following local students have named to Wheaton College’s dean’s list for the fall 2018 semester. To earn dean’s list honors at Wheaton, an undergraduate student must carry 12 or more credit hours and achieve a 3.5 grade point average or higher on the 4.0 scale.

The list includes: Loren Ladd and Jenny Cox, both of Danville.
