HARRODSBURG — Mercer County honored one of the best to put on the blue and red during halftime of Tuesday’s game against Boyle County.

Trevon Faulkner, 2018 Mr. Basketball, had his name put in the rafters on Tuesday. Faulkner was first team all-state last year, leads Mercer County’s record books for points and assists, and currently starts for Northern Kentucky University.

“The accolades just go on and on, but he’s an even better kid,” Mercer County head coach Josh Hamlin said. “Just to be able to give him a hug, talk to him a little bit and see how happy people are to see him back, that’s just the best feeling in the world for our program and our coaching staff.”
