Former Perryville mayor grateful for support

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the city and citizens of Perryville for their valued support, commitment and most of all, love.
For 12 years, they allowed me to lead the city with integrity and conviction. My door was always open and I always listened with a heart of compassion and kindness.
There are so many people — too numerous to name — that helped and supported me in striving to make the great City of Perryville a loving and warm place.
To all of the city council people, both past and present, I think them for their teamwork, partnership and guidance as we strived to do the best that we could do for the community.
Many thanks to Vickie Goode for facilitating the reception and gathering for my retirement. I appreciate her so much.
To my family, friends and neighbors near and far, I thank them from the bottom of my heart for all that they have done. Most especially a huge thanks to my church family and my pastor, the Rev. Jeffrey Yocum, for their unending love and support.
Their love and encouragement certainly did not go without notice. May God be with them all and the great City of Perryville.
