Jesse Marvin Harness

1941-2019

Jesse Marvin Harness, 77, of Beelick, Kentucky, went home to be with the Lord Monday, February 4, 2019, at UK Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. Marvin was born July 14, 1941, in Lincoln County, of the late James Hubert Harness and Maude (Rodgers) Harness. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Beelick, Kentucky.

Survivors include his wife, Connie Harness of Beelick, Kentucky; three sons, Ron Harness and wife Kim Harness of Vine Grove, Kentucky, Eli Harness of Winchester, Kentucky, and Kelly Harness and wife Gina Harness of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; daughter-in-law, Faye Harness of Sidney, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

In addition to his parents, Marvin was preceded in death by three sons, Jesse Ray Harness, Darryl Gene Harness and Terry Lee Harness; four brothers, James Mitchell Harness, Noel E. Harness, Billy Dale Harness and Delbert Lee Harness; and a sister, Bonnie Alene Dyson.

The funeral will be held at Liberty Baptist Church at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 8, 2019. Burial will be at the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will start at 11:00 a.m. Friday until the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. also at Liberty Baptist Church. Pastor Zandell Hasty will be officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be Kaleb Harness, Joseph Ricklefs, Christopher Harness, Ashley Harness, Bryan Harness, Brandyn Harness, Austin Gray.
