Gloria Jean Sowder

1963-2019

Gloria Jean Sowder, 55, of Waynesburg, Kentucky, died Saturday morning, February 23, 2019 at her residence. Gloria was born in Stanford, Kentucky on June 18, 1963, a daughter of Dorothy Margaret (Goncz) Saylor and Morris Saylor. She was a member of the Mt. Hebron Baptist Church.

Survivors include her father, Morris Saylor; mother, Dorothy M. Goncz Saylor; one uncle, Wayne and wife, Pat Saylor; and several cousins also survive.

Gloria was preceded in death by a brother, David Wayne Saylor; and three uncles, Curtis and Lowell Saylor and James Stevens Goncz.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2019 at Mt. Hebron Baptist Church with Bro. Gary King and Bro. Brad King officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Feb. 27 from 10:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. time of services at Mt. Hebron Baptist Church

Pallbearers include Curt Simpson, Jerry Genton, Hal Oaks, Jeff Reed, Jerry Hertzog and Clarence Caudill.
