Hugh Bryant Chambers, Jr., age 55, of Lancaster, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, February 28, 2019 at his residence.

Born Saturday, June 15, 1963, in Louisville, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Hugh Bryant Chambers, Sr. and the late Anna Belle Cordier Chambers. His loving wife, whom he married June 17, 2000, is Connie Chambers of Lancaster. Bryant worked as a truck driver for many years. Bryant loved his family dearly and was of the Baptist faith. In his earlier years, he was noted for being a standout football player while at Lincoln County High School and at Kentucky State University.

In addition to his wife, Bryant leaves behind two sons, Robert Logan Reed of Hustonville, Kentucky, and Todd Allen Reed of Casey County, Kentucky; one daughter, LoniSue Nicole Robertson (Lajernio) of Lancaster; three grandchildren; three brothers, Kenny Chambers (Mary Ann) of Vine Grove, Kentucky, Raymond Higdon of Lancaster, and Billy Messer of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

A funeral service will be held 7:00 p.m. Monday, March 4, 2019 at Fox & Friend Funeral Home. The visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

A graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at the chapel of Buffalo Springs Cemetery. Burial will follow the service.
