The Garrard Community Art Center visited about 140 first- and second-grade students earlier this month at Lancaster Elementary School, painting hearts for Valentine’s Day. The students painted and decorated wooden heart door hangers, many with initials for themselves or their parents. Funding was provided by the Kentucky Arts Council and NEA.
