First Old Harrod Radio Hour premieres March 10

At 3 p.m. Sunday, Ragged Edge Community Theatre will present the first Old Harrod Radio Hour, a country music/variety show, hosted by local favorites Natalie Berry Marshall and Josh McMillen.

Longtime local philanthropists Pete and Barbara Chiericozzi have generously underwritten the project, which is envisioned as an ongoing series of showcases for  up-and-coming local musical talent.

All proceeds will benefit RECT.

The show takes place at the theater, 111 S. Main St in Harrodsburg. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased on the theatre’s website www.raggededgetheatre.org or by calling (859) 734-2389 and leaving a message.

Performers

Jaydan Bottoms attends Mercer County High School, where he is very active in all aspects of the music program. A multi instrumentalist, he plays piano, sax, and violin among others. He studies voice and music theory and is a member of the MCSHS show choir.

Rose Naughton is a 20-year-old RECT veteran and has been performing since childhood. She most recently appeared as Daisy Mae in RECT‘s production of Li’l Abner. Her passions are music and theater. She currently lives in Shelbyville with her partner and their dog Tabitha.

Kaydy Dressler is an 18-year-old singer/songwriter from Harrodsburg. A self-taught musician, she has tried her hand at almost every instrument with strings. A high school senior, she hopes to attend college and eventually partner with her dad, Perry, working for Edward Jones.

Sybastian Dunn is a senior at Mercer County high school and a veteran of the RECT stage. Audiences will remember him as Seaweed in “Hairspray” and as Donkey in “Shrek Jr.” He plans to attend Asbury College and hopes to work in music therapy.
