Elsie Moore Tamme, 79, of Danville, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2019 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. She was born on April 12, 1939, in Parksville, Kentucky to the late Bryant and Julia Moore.

She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Robert “Bob” Tamme. Surviving are two sons, Bobby L. Tamme (Barbara) and Billy Tamme (Dena), both of Danville; three daughters, Mary Nell Southerland (Douglas) of Danville, Barbara Anderson (Phillip) of Danville and Julie Marie Coffman (Archie) of Junction City; grandchildren, Hunter Anderson, Kristin Anderson and Cassie Anderson (Justin); and great grandchildren, Eli, Jeb, Colton and Chloe; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by a great-grandson, Fox Spears.

She was a member of St. Peter and Paul Church She was a volunteer at Ephraim McDowell Hospital. She also served on the Boyle County Fair Board for several years. She loved to be with her family and her grandchildren. She loved to ride her golf cart and fish on the family farm.

Private services will be held by Fr. Dick Sullivan. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Joe Tamme, Hunter Anderson, Eddie Tamme, Elijah Anderson, Theo Tamme, and Justin Chester. Honorary pallbearers are Gene Worthington, Horace and Ruth Huffman, Clyde and Betty Jackson, Jimmy Overstreet, Dr. Moran and Darrell Taylor. www.preston-pruitt.com
