Casey County grand jury hands up indictments on 16

The following people were indicted by a Casey County grand jury on Feb. 22:

• Samantha Lee Dilbeck, 35, Liberty: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine third offense; possession of drug paraphernalia; public intoxication. Bail was set at $1,500 cash. Casey County Sheriff Chad Weddle testified.

• Gregory S. Crew, 40, Liberty: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth; possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $1,500 and Weddle testified.

• Christina D. Duncan: first-degree bail jumping. No bond was set. Dennis Allen as Commonwealth’s detective testified.

• Michael Vincent Harmon, 28, Dunnville: first-degree bail jumping. No bond was set and Allen testified.

• Joshua McKinley Weddle, 39, Liberty: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth, third offense; possession of drug paraphernalia; possession of marijuana. Bail was set at $1,500 and Weddle testified.

• Tricia Ann Sheene, 54, Kings Mountain: possession of a controlled substance, meth; possession of drug paraphernalia; driving a vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol; reckless driving; improper registration plate. Bail was set at $1,500 and Weddle testified.

• Jonathan B. Thomas, 19, Liberty: second-degree terroristic threatening by threatening people on school property through a Snapchat account; tampering with physical evidence by deleting two posts on the account. Summons was issued for March 11. Liberty Police Department officer Jordan Buis testified.

• Matthew Wade Mason, 33, Columbia: first-degree promoting contraband by bringing meth into the Casey County Detention Center; possession of a controlled substance, meth, third offense. Bail was set at $1,500 cash. Casey County Constable Ralph Mondie testified.

• Chad Daniel Atwood, 40, Liberty: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth, third offense; possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $1,500. Tyler Martin with the LPD testified.

• Timothy Wayne Passmore, 39, Russell Springs: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth; possession of marijuana; possession of drug paraphernalia; first-degree promoting contraband by bringing meth and marijuana into the CCDC; first-degree persistent felony offender; fourth-degree assault. Bail was set at $5,000 cash. Liberty Police Chief Steven Garrett testified.

• Natasha Dawn Wright, 35, Danville: nine counts second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument. Bail was set at $1,000 cash and Weddle testified.

• Samantha Jo Fields, 27, Columbia: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth; possession of drug paraphernalia; possession of marijuana; driving on a suspended license; DUI. Summons was issued for March 11 and Weddle testified.

• Anna Marie Means, 45, Liberty: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth, third offense; possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $1,500 cash and Martin testified.

• Gary Marlett Chadwell, 56, Liberty: DUI third offense; driving on a suspended license; first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth, third offense; no insurance card; possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $1,500 each charge and Weddle testified.

• David Ray Lynn, 35, Liberty: first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, meth, second offense, firearms enhanced; trafficking marijuana second offense, firearms enhanced; two counts possession of a handgun by a convicted felon; possession of drug paraphernalia; third-degree possession of a controlled substance, neurontin; possession of a defaced firearm. Bail was set at $10,000 and Weddle testified.

• Jesse D. Galloway, 25, Liberty: first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, meth, firearm enhanced; first-degree persistent felony offender; three counts possession of a handgun by a convicted felon; DUI third offense; second-degree possession of a controlled substance, suboxone; possession of drug paraphernalia; no registration receipt; no seat belts in use; no or expired registration plates; improper windshield; failure to register transfer of vehicle; possession of a defaced firearm; no liability insurance; no driver’s license;  license to be in possession. Bail was set at $25,000 cash. Kentucky State Police Trooper Zach Scott testified.
