Dora Nave Spaulding

1929-2019

Dora Nave Spaulding, 89, of Hustonville, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2019. Born October 9, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Ellwood Nave and Ethel Marie Kirkpatrick Nave Feistritzer. She was a member of Indian Hills Christian Church and had recently attended Maxey Valley Church of God.

Dora was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Thomas Spaulding, Jr.; and sister, Betty Dalton.

She is survived by daughters, Carolyn (Tommy) Smith of Hustonville and Becky (Tommy) Julian of Shepherdsville; son, Mitch (Kathy) Spaulding of Stanford; eight grandchildren, Jennifer (Marshall) Malone, David (Lori) Smith, Danny (Rhonda) Smith, Lysa (Sean) Link, Chad (Melissa) Julian, Angela (Jon) Wells, Matthew Spaulding and Valerie (Adam) Smith; 24 great grandchildren (and one due in April); and seven great-great grandchildren (with one due in July).

Visitation is 5-9 p.m. Wednesday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m.,

Pallbearers are David Smith, Danny Smith, Chad Julian, Matthew Spaulding, Noah Malone, Levi Smith, Isaac Link and Sean Link. Honorary pallbearers are Marshall Malone, Jon, Caleb and Jeremiah Wells, Adam Smith, and Tim and Micah Spaulding.
