Georgia Bradley

1929-2019

Georgia Bradley, 89, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2019. She was born in Harrodsburg, Kentucky on June 9, 1929, to the late Thomas and Lula Newton and was the widow of Charles Bradley.

Georgia loved going fishing and greatly enjoyed traveling. She was a member of the ladies’ auxiliary at the Perryville American Legion and worked in the women’s department of The Hub in Danville.

Georgia is survived by her son, Michael Bradley; three grandchildren, Jason Bradley, Marc Bradley, Ann Shannon Bradley; and 14 great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Martha Downs Bradley; son, Vaughn Bradley; brothers, Charles Newton and Nelson Newton; and her sister, Martha Lou Newton.

The funeral service will be 12:00 p.m. (noon), Wednesday March 20, 2019 at Walden Funeral Home Perryville with Rev. Doug Lester officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.

Pallbearers will be Dwight Boyle, Roger Yankey, Roy Yankey, Jason Bradley, Marc Bradley and Bob Newton.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
