Joyce Frances Rogers Jeffries

Joyce Frances Rogers Jeffries, 89, of Moreland, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2019. Born February 9, 1930, in Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Lizzie Hill Rogers. She was a member of Junction City Baptist Church and a faithful servant of the Lord.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herlin Jeffries.

She is survived by her son, Marvin (Barbara) Jeffries of Lexington; her daughter, Joyce Woodward of Moreland; a step-daughter, Marlene Ogle of Florida; a brother, Raymond Rogers; two sisters, Emma Lou Asbery of Danville and Nancy Lennington of Lincoln County; four grandchildren, Valarie Wofford, Martina Hawkins, Douglas (Heather) Jeffries, and Steven (Natalie) Jeffries; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

A funeral service will be held Friday at 1 p.m. by Bro. Dale Denton at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home with visitation Thursday 6:30-9:00 p.m. Burial will be in Hustonville Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Douglas Jeffries, Rocky Cash, Ed Southworth, Sammy Lee, Troy Gammon, and Michael Lee.
