DBCHS Pets of the week, March 27

Published 6:42 pm Tuesday, March 26, 2019

Our featured pets this week are Whiskers and Dudley.

Whiskers is a handsome 1-and-a-half-year-old gray and white tabby. He’s a big boy that weighs about 12 pounds and he has cute mustache and goatee markings. Whiskers was brought to the humane society as a friendly stray. It took him a little time to adjust, but now he is super relaxed and living with several other cats in one of our kitty condos. Whiskers’ favorites pastimes are snacking on kitty kibble and napping in the sun. Whiskers is ready to become a special member of your family if you choose him for adoption.

       Whiskers

Dudley is a cute 6-year-old Beagle that was found as a stray in Danville. His owner was never located so he is looking for a second chance at his forever home. Dudley weighs 35 pounds and is brown and white with a perfect stripe between his eyes. Dudley has plenty of energy and loves to romp in the exercise yard. He will joyfully join you in an endless game of fetch with his favorite toys. Come and meet Dudley, he’d love to show off his skills and win your heart in the process.

We are celebrating 2019 March CAT Madness at the humane society this week. Through Friday the adoption fee for adult kitties is $20.19 plus sales tax. This includes all our regular vetting including the spay or neuter surgery, up to date on vaccinations and testing for feline leukemia. We have a great selection of beautiful cats ready for their special forever homes. So if you are looking to add a furry feline to your family come to the humane society by Friday. Adopters will be asked to complete an application and must bring a pet carrier so your new friend will have a safe trip home.

Low-cost, high-quality spay/neuter surgery is available for pet owners with low and fixed incomes. Call our Happy Paws Clinic today at (859) 691-1137 for an appointment. Please help control pet over-population by having your pet spayed or neutered.
