Morning Pointe of Danville resident Pat Chipps (second from right) leads book club while fellow residents Lillian Johnson and Marlys Marincel offer their thoughts. The personal care and Alzheimer’s memory care community’s book club meets once a month; currently, they are reading Dewey: The Small-Town Library Cat Who Touched the World by Vicki Myron. “Their discussions are phenomenal, and we usually try to follow up with a movie if that book has been made into a film,” says Nicole Walton, the Life Enrichment Director at Morning Pointe of Danville. “The ladies enjoy coming together.”
