Salyers awarded scholarships

CLARKSVILLE, Tennessee — Austin Peay State University congratulates Shelby Salyers of Hustonville on receiving the APSU Provost Out-of-State Scholarship and the Presidential Scholarship for high-achieving freshmen for the Fall 2019 semester.

Salyers was awarded the scholarships for having a 3.0 plus GPA and 26 plus on the ACT or 1170 plus on the SAT.

Vernon honored with membership

PERRYVILLE — Eva Joy Vernon has been honored with membership into the International Dean’s List Society for exemplary academic performance at the University of Kentucky. Vernon is attending the College of Communication and Information and anticipates graduating in Spring 2019.

The International Dean’s List Society provides scholarship, study abroad, and online personal

and career development opportunities to students from the United States and countries around

the world. The Society congratulates Eva Joy Vernon on this distinctive honor.
