Pauline Sims

1928-2019

Pauline Sims, 91, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2019. She was born March 10, 1928 in Garrard County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late James and Stella Franklin Middleton and was the widow of the late Walter Sims.

Pauline attended the First Church of God. She was a clerk at Fort Knox and also did advertising for the former Hub-Frankel store in Danville. She enjoyed entertaining in her home, cooking, gardening, fishing and golfing. Mostly, she loved to be with her family and friends.

Pauline is survived by a daughter, Carrie L. Sims (Scott Tymensky); two grandchildren, Hunter May, Samantha May (Akeem Ray); a great-granddaughter, Aerielle Ray; and a brother, Gene (Shirley) Middleton.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Pete and Cline Middleton; and three sisters, Edith Hogue, Bertha Connor, and Agnes Johnson.

Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m., (noon) – 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Walden Funeral Home Perryville. Burial will be private.
