Forrest Scott Lester, 55, of Florida, (formerly of Danville, Ky.) passed away Friday, April 5, 2019 at his home.

Scott was a graduate of Boyle County High School where he played football and was a former employee of North American Phillips of Danville. He enjoyed fishing, was a loyal UK and Dallas Cowboy fan, and enjoyed hunting and collecting Indian artifacts and old coins. Scott was co-owner of Lester’s Golf Cart, LLC in The Villages, Fl.

Survivors include his parents, J. L. and Mildred Lester, a son, Kirk (Lynn) Lester, a daughter, Katie (Logan) Matlock; he was the proud Papa of Timothy Alexander Lester; two sisters, Vickie (Bill) Langford and Renee’ (Billy) Webb. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, April 12 from 5-8 p.m. at Perryville United Methodist Church, and Saturday starting at 11:00 a.m. A celebration of life service will be on Saturday, April 13 at noon at the church.

Honorary pallbearers are Tony Patterson, Barry Gibson, Barry Burger, Eddie Cummins, Andy Baker, Barry Moser, Timmy Ellis, Lawrence “Pookie” Wray, Mike Harmon, and the late Junior Cox.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Boyle County High School Bass Fishing Team.

Arrangements are under the direction of Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home/Crematory in Florida and Walden Funeral Home Perryville.
