Jack Duncan, 84, died Saturday, April 13,2019. He was born in Boyle County on May 25, 1934, to the late Everett B. and Mary Frances Montgomery Duncan. Jack served in the National Guard Armory for eight years and was a member of Unity Baptist Church in Mackville. He loved sitting on his front porch and loved his family. Jack was a collector of Harley Davidson motorcycles and owned 13 over several years. He loved restoring cars and he owned and restored a gas pump that came from Kids Store in Casey County. Jack was many things a plummer, mechanic, and a steam fitter for State Hospital. He worked at Whirlpool for 17 years. He had several businesses, a service station, a wood working shop and J&J Storage. Jack had quick witt and was feisty.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his two daughters, Lou Anne Duncan Qualls and Benida “Bennie” Duncan Gordon.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Anderson Duncan of Danville, Ky.; a sister, Irene Estes of Danville; two grandchildren, Lee (Melanie) Qualls and Whitney Nicole (Matt) Peyton; three great grandchildren, Jackson Douglas Qualls, Jacob Lee Qualls, Mattison Nicole Peyton; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m., Thursday, April 18, 2019 at Stith Funeral Home in Junction City. Rev. Ernest Martin will officiate. Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be 5 p.m. – 9 p.m., Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at Stith Funeral Home in Junction City.

Pallbearers will be Gary Whitis, Lance Duncan, Eric Dottner, David Taylor, Jackson Qualls, Jacob Qualls, Matte Peyton and Archie Coffman. Honorary pallbearers will be Kevin Ellis, Kevin Stewart, J.T. Rice, Shawn Rice, Doug Combs, Jackie Antle, Tom Gutherie, Nathan Johnson, Jean & Gary Rothwell, LeRoy Hardin, Candy & Fred Kixmiller and Vickie & Lloyd Bowling.
