Meetings

The Danville Boyle County Human Rights Commission — 6 p.m. on Monday April 22, at the Boyle County Courthouse, in the Fiscal Court room on the first floor. Please arrive promptly and enter by the 4th Street entrance. The Human Rights Commission is established to hear all complaints and concerns of community citizens related to violations of their human rights.

Danville-Boyle County Convention and Visitors Bureau — 9 a.m. Monday, April 22 at the McKinney Conference Center. Items on the agenda include: gift shop partnership; 2019-2010 budget discussion.

Boyle County Jail Committee — 10 a.m. Monday, April 22 at the Boyle County Detention Center, 1856 South Danville Bypass.

Earth Day Event

The Garrard County Arts Council will host an Earth Day event on Monday, April 22, from 6 to 8 p.m., rain or shine, at the UK Extension Office, 1302 Stanford St. Lancaster. The event will feature a Drumming Circle for all ages, a prayer for our Earth, environmental education. You can hike the Lake Trail and meet and greet some of our favorite reptiles.
