Pulse of the People event April 25

Boyle County Judge-Executive Howard Hunt and Magistrate Jason Cullen will hold a Pulse of the People meeting 6 p.m. April 25 at the First Christian Church, 555 E. Lexington Avenue. Hunt and Cullen invite the citizens of the 4th District to come out and share what’s on their minds, but all in Boyle County are invited.

Celebration planned for WTS public charging station

Wilderness Trace Solar, Inc. along with Evolve KY is celebrating the opening of its public electric vehicle charging station from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 23 at its location at 70 North Stewarts Lane. Guest speaker will be Adam Edelen, Democratic candidate for governor and former Kentucky Auditor of Public Accounts. Special guest will be Stuart Ungar, president and co-founder of Evolve KY, a group of electric vehicle enthusiasts.

Agenda includes: consent calendar –  Transportation Cabinet, Commissioner Tomblyn; Hope Network, Pastor Brian Montgomery; Grace Café, Margaux Crider; Public Works, truck bed replacement quotes, county road aid agreement, proposed building inspection fee schedule, consider occupational license fee collection policy; EMS, request to post job vacancy, approval of part-time policy, approval of hire/promotion policy; jail inmate work crew, Brian Wofford, request to solicit broker proposals, consider compensatory agreement.
