Garrard County indicts nine

The following people were indicted by a Garrard County grand jury on May 3:
• Charles Graham, 29, Lancaster: flagrant nonsupport of his children in arrears of more than $1,000. Bail was set at $2,500 cash. Jeri Pruett with the Garrard County Attorney’s office testified.
• Bradley Creech, 39, Lancaster: flagrant nonsupport of his children in arrears of more than $1,000. Bail was set at $2,500 cash and Pruett testified.
• Jordan Phillips, 29, Nicholasville: flagrant nonsupport of his children in arrears of more than $1,000. Summons was served and Pruett testified.
• Travis Walls, 38, Nicholasville: flagrant nonsupport of his children in arrears of more than $1,000. Bail was set at $2,500 cash and Pruett testified.
• Missy Smallwood, 39, Lancaster: two counts theft by unlawful taking of trailers valued more than $500 each. Summons was issued. Officer Graham with Garrard County Police Department testified.
• William Thorton, 35, Harrodsburg: two counts theft by unlawful taking of trailers valued more than $500 each. Summons was issued and Graham testified.
• Kayla Dunaway, 28, Lancaster: public intoxication; theft by unlawful taking of a vehicle valued more than $500; first-degree wanton endangerment; first-degree unlawful imprisonment; third-degree burglary. Bail was set at $5,000 cash and Graham testified.
• Edwin Preston, 29, Lancaster: two counts second-degree assault. Summons was issued and the victim, Whitney Hall testified.
• Brady Wehmiller, 23, Danville: speeding 26 mph over the limit; reckless driving; possession of marijuana; first-degree possession of a controlled substance, LSD. Summons was issued and Officer Gibson with the GCPD testified.
