Betty Ann Hagan Barrett

1934-2019

Betty Ann Hagan Barrett, 85, passed away Thursday morning, May 9.

Originally from Whitesville, Kentucky, she was the daughter of O.J. “Jack” and Catherine Hagan. She was a homemaker with a flair for decorating.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas “Tom” Barrett, whom she married on September 9, 1952; a daughter, Susan Elliott in 2009; and a sister, Joy Martin.

She is survived by her children, Karen Griffin of Charleston, South Carolina, Pam Wilson (Mike) of Danville, Kentucky, Don Barrett (Felicia) of Stanford, Kentucky and Diane Barrett of Stanford, Kentucky; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with visitation from 9 to 11 a.m. prior to the mass. Celebrant will be Father Alan Carter.
