Boyle County Fiscal Court — 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 14. Agenda includes: LGEA and CRA hearing; Historic Preservation Month proclamation, Parks and Recreation, consider EDP Partnership commitment, arrest video – Jailer Wofford; EMS items; sheriff items; Homeland Security Grant – Mike Wilder; Public works item; Planning and Zoning; Solid Waste; budget workshop.
Danville-Boyle County Airport Board — 6 p.m. Thursday, May 16, at the airport to discuss general business.
CASA offers open training
CASA of the Bluegrass is sponsoring a community training 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. May 16 at the Boyle County Extension Office, 99 Corporate Drive. The event will be led by Kentucky State Trooper Robert Purdy, who will present on drug use issues. Please RSVP to Kyle Huffman at kyle@casaofthebluegrass.org.
GABBF quilt show accepting entries
The 2019 Great American Quilt Show will once again be held during the Great American Brass Band Festival inside the Presbyterian Church on Saturday, June 8 and 9. Applications to submit quilt entries can be downloaded from the GABBF website at https://bit.ly/2WxF9X1.
