Donnita Kathlee Russell

1971-2019

Donnita Kathlee Russell, 48, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2019. She was born in Danville on May 4, 1971, to Donna Webb Poynter and the late Foster Barnes and was raised by Donna and her “Pop”, Lenzie Poynter. She was the loving wife of nine years to Rex Russell.

Donnita was a member of Southland Christian Church and worked for 22 years as a production associate at Hitachi in Harrodsburg. She enjoyed shopping at Fayette Mall and liked going out to eat and she especially liked spending time working in her yard.

In addition to her mother, Donna, and husband, Rex, Donnita is survived two sons, Devan Satterley and Logan Russell. Also, surviving are a sister, Sandy Grubbs and brother, Dwayne (Carmen) Hardin.

A celebration of Donnita’s life will be 7:00 p.m., Friday, May 24, 2019 at Walden Funeral Home Perryville. Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Southland Christian Church Building Fund.
