Boyle County High School community based instruction educator Brittany Barnett receives a water bottle gift basket from Morning Pointe of Danville resident Laura Dunagan. The personal care and Alzheimer’s memory care community maintains an ongoing partnership with Barnett and her students, who often come to volunteer. “In honor of Teacher Appreciation Week, we wanted to show Brittany how grateful we are to her and to all teachers for the incredible impact they make every day on the minds of the next generation,” says Morning Pointe life enrichment director. “Laura herself is a retired teacher. She got her start teaching in a one-room schoolhouse!”
