The following people were indicted by a Boyle County grand jury on May 16:

• Jeffery Alcorn, 36, Danville: possession of a handgun by a convicted felon. Bail was set at $20,000. Brandon Record with the Danville Police Department testified.

• Kelli Anderson, 31, Lancaster: first-degree burglary; possession of a firearm by a convicted felon; first-degree criminal mischief. Bail was set at $20,000. Casey McCoy with the Boyle County Sheriff’s Office testified.

• Amber Ball, 30, Stanford: first-degree bail jumping by failing to appear for a pretrial conference. Bail was set at $10,000. Kari Wilson testified for the Commonwealth.

• Kody Brewer, 23, Danville: first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, methamphetamine. Bail was set at $5,000 10-percent bond.

• Kenneth Burrows, 30, Danville: resisting arrest; third-degree terroristic threatening; third-degree assault of an officer by kicking and spitting; criminal attempt to commit disarming of a police officer by attempting to remove the officer’s holstered firearm; first-degree criminal mischief by causing more than $1,000 worth of damage at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. Bail was set at $5,000. Aaron Sparks with the DPD testified.

• Rickey Byrd, 33, Frankfort: possession of a handgun by a convicted felon; possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $10,000 and McCoy testified.

• Nehemiah Conley, 28, Harrodsburg: receiving stolen property valued between $500 and $10,000. Bail was set at $5,000 10-percent bond. Bill Cruce with the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office testified.

• Barbara Coontz, 39, Danville: first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, meth. Bail was set at $5,000 10-percent bond. Tanner Abbott with the BCSO testified.

• Paul Cox, 51, Danville: first-degree promoting contraband into the Boyle County Detention Center. Bail was set at $5,000 10-percent bond. Michael Clem with the BCDC testified.

• Leigh Cross, 31, Danville: first-degree trafficking a controlled substance, meth. Bail was set at $5,000. Keith Addison with the BCSO testified.

• Christopher Curtsinger, 28, Danville: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth. Bail was set at $5,000 10-percent bond and Addison testified.

• Nancy Davis, 33, Stanford: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth. Bail was set at $5,000 10-percent bond and McCoy testified.

• Ashlea Dennis, 23, Waynesburg: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth. Bail was set at $5,000 10-percent bond. Jonathan Mullins with the BCSO testified. Second-degree escape when she failed to return to the BCDC as ordered by a judge. Bail was set at $5,000 and McCoy testified.

• Jacob Gordon, 27, Perryville: third-degree burglary by unlawfully entering Danville High School; theft by unlawful taking of property valued between $500 and $10,000; first-degree criminal mischief by causing $1,000 or more in damages to the property of DHS; two counts of identity theft; first-degree promoting contraband into the BCDC; first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth. Bail was set at $15,000. AJ Mullins with the DPD testified.

• Brian Gribbins, 30, Harrodsburg: first-degree bail jumping by failing to appear for a pretrial conference. Bail was set at $10,000 and Wilson testified.

• Jacobie Harris, 23, Danville: first-degree unlawful transaction with a minor when he induced, or assisted a minor under age 16 to engage in illegal sexual activity; third-degree rape. Bail was set at $20,000 and Mullins testified.

• Aaron Jackson, 23, Danville: fourth-degree assault. Bail was set at $5,000. Casey Whittle with the DPD testified.

• Justin Johnson, 21, Danville: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth. Bail was set at $5,000 10-percent bond. Brandon Record with the DPD testified.

• Richard Humes, 36, Danville: first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, meth, second or more offense; possession of a handgun by a convicted felon; possession of drug paraphernalia, scales. Bail was set at $20,000 and Addison testified.

• Richard Schmiers, 38, Liberty: first-degree bail jumping by failing to appear for a status hearing. Bail was set at $10,000 and Wilson testified.

• Nathaniel Turpin, 21, Hustonville: first-degree unlawful transaction with a minor by inducing or assisting a minor under age 16 to engage in illegal sexual activity; third-degree unlawful transaction with a minor by inducing or assisting a minor to disobey her parent or guardian. • Darryl Whitley, 20, Danville: two counts first-degree bail jumping by failing to appear for two pretrial conferences. Bail was set at $10,000 each count and Wilson testified.

• Michael Woods, 35, Danville: first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, meth; possession of drug paraphernalia, baggies; fleeing or evading police on foot. Bail was set at $10,000 10-percent bond and Abbott testified.
