LEXINGTON — Boyle County’s Chase Frisby battled to fight back against Belfry’s Ben McNamee, but fell short in consecutive sets (6-4, 6-2).

The Rebel boy’s doubles team of Sam Bischoff and Coleman Clark faired no better, running into top seeded DuPont Manual’s team of Hart Howard and Aidan Sheridan-Rabidaeu, falling in straight sets as well (6-0, 6-0).

Danville High’s girl’s doubles team, twin sisters Jenna and Lara Akers bested Belfry’s Anna Deskins and Megan Lambert (6-2, 6-2), but couldn’t make it to tomorrow, losing in the second round to third seeded McCracken County’s team of Danni Post and Shelby Puryear (6-0, 6-0).
