Jessie Himes Sears

1947-2019

Jessie Himes Sears, 72, of Junction City, passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2019.

Born January 10, 1947, she was the daughter of Dallie Young Himes of Danville and the late Isaac Joseph Himes. She retired from Jackson Chair. She enjoyed fishing, hunting and being outdoors. She was a devoted wife, momma and grandmother.

Jessie is survived by her husband of 49 years, Phillip Sears; daughters, Tina (David) Hitchner of Danville, Debra (Edward) Ottinger of Hodgenville and Alysa Beth Reed of Louisville; sisters, Hannah (Ray) Kimes of Moreland and Joyce (Charlie) Neal of Junction City; 10 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m., Wednesday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home by Bro. Lonnie Goodin. Burial will be at Junction City Cemetery. Visitation is 6-9 p.m., Tuesday.

Pallbearers are Edward Ottinger, David Hitchner, Jeremiah Conatser, Bill Sobol, Josh Hitchner and Bud Davis. Honorary pallbearers are Amber Moore, Jimmy Carlton and Jimbo Carlton. Memorial contributions suggested to Heritage Hospice. Guestbook is available at www.wlpruitt.com
