Robert Lipscomb

1947-2019

 

Robert Lipscomb, 71, of Danville, Kentucky, formerly of Memphis, Tennessee went to be with our Lord Monday, May 13, 2019.

He retired after 34 years of service to Norfolk Southern Railway as sergeant on the police department and prior to that served in the Army during the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Sandra Lipscomb; a daughter, Christy Lipscomb Jordan (David); a grandson, Ryan Lipscomb (Brittany); grandchildren, Aaron, Andrew, Dakota, Dylon, Lane, Logan, and Kassady Lipscomb, Brianna Padilla, Jacob, Caleb, and Jackson Jordan; and three great-grandchildren, Owen, Natasha, and Isabel.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lois Tollison Lipscomb; a son, Michael Brian Lipscomb; a granddaughter, Meredith Grace Lipscomb; and a brother, Ronnie Lee Lipscomb.
