Danville 2019 Boys Basketball Camp

Danville High School will be holding its 2019 Boys Basketball Camp from June 12 through June 14 after a “several year hiatus”. The camp will run from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. of those days and is open to second through eighth grade boys who attend Danville schools or schools in the surrounding counties.

The camp will be run by Danville boys basketball coaches Ed McKinney, Brandon Cooper, and Demarco Prewitt.

It will have stations where kids will run drills on ball handling, passing, defense, rebounding, and shooting. There will also be three-on-three games, shooting competitions, as well as full team team and championship games.

Coach McKinney said that the camp has always been well received in the past and that the primary focus of the camp is the fundamentals of basketball and having fun.

The camp will cost $50, with a half off discount for additional siblings, that will include lunch daily.

For more information, coach McKinney can be reached by email at ed.mckinney@danville.kyschools.us or by phone at 859-936-8585.
