Linda Dean Simpson Sargent

Linda Dean Simpson Sargent, 69, died Thursday, June 6, 2019. She was born in Fayette County on December 7, 1949, to the late Luther Virgil and Dolly Dimple Southerland Simpson. Linda enjoyed gardening and planting.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Louis Erbin Sargent; and a son, Leonard Cordell Hines.

She is survived by a daughter, Linda Michelle (Ronnie) Maddox, Gravel Switch; a son, David Wayne Pike, Danville; a sister, Debbie Young, Parksville; four grandchildren, Alan Wayne Boyd (Sarina Plumley) Pamela Gail (Dallas) Gribbins, Christopher Manning and Jonathan Maddox; and seven great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be 1 p.m., Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at Stith Funeral Home in Danville. Burial will be in Hustonville Cemetery.
