Dwight O. Moberly

1950-2019

Dwight O. Moberly, 69, a Kentuckian, living in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina, passed away at his home on Monday, June 17, 2019.  He was a retired federal employee.

Dwight was preceded in death by his parents, D.O. and Christine McBride Moberly; sister, Nancy Moberly Caudill; brother, Don Moberly; and brother-in-law, George McClure III.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Farmer Moberly, son, Matthew (Victoria) Moberly, and two granddaughters, Charlotte and Lilly Moberly all of Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina (Dwight’s greatest joy was being Grandn to Charlotte and Lilly), daughter, Michelle (Rick) Yaden, and two grandsons, Andrew (Savannah) and Jon Ross Yaden, all of London, Kentucky, sister, Patsy Moberly McClure, brother-in-law, Bill Caudill and sister-in-law, Barbara Moberly Wade, all of Danville, Kentucky, and many special nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin at noon with a memorial service to follow at 1:00  p.m., Saturday, June 22, 2019, at the Trinity Episcopal Church Parish Hall, 320 W. Main Street, Danville, Kentucky.

Dwight requested everyone “wear fishing clothes”.
