Four added to Veterans Wall of Honor

Veteran Jack Hendricks announces four new names were added to the Veterans Wall of Honor, located inside of Veteran’s Park, at the entrance to the fairgrounds. They are:

• Jameson Gay, USN, 2006-2018

• Raymond Mark Wilson, USA/USAF, 1958-1967/1975-1997

• Sherman W. Collins, USMC, Viet Nam

Danville-Boyle County Convention and Visitors Bureau — 9 a.m. Monday, June 24 at the McKinney Conference Center in Constitution Square.

Danville City Commission — 5:30 p.m. Monday at city hall. Agenda includes: retirement recognition of Wastewater Rehab Superintendent Todd Conger; the second reading of the ‘19-’20 city budget; and resolutions for funding agreement; EDP partnership commitment letter; Boyle County Health Department contract agreement; Delta Dental 19-20 renewal; valve equipment bid award; and the Springfield Laundry contract agreement.
