Gov. Bevin makes appointment

Gov. Matt Bevin has appointed Kim King, of Harrodsburg, as a member of the Kentucky Workforce Innovation Board. She will serve as a state representative and will represent the state legislature as a non-voting member. The Kentucky Workforce Innovation Board serves as an advisory board to the Governor on workforce training and development issues. It is charged with creating a statewide vision for workforce development and adopting a plan to move Kentucky forward through workforce training and development.

David Fox Family reunion

The David Fox Family reunion will be held Sunday, July 7 in Moreland at Southern Hospitality. Doors will open around noon. The potluck meal will be served at 1 p.m.
