A prayer meeting is set for 7 p.m. July 9, Tuesday. Dr. James Clontz Jr., director of missions for the South District Baptist Association said we are calling all Christians to join us as we fast and pray for people to come to the saving grace of Jesus Christ and for his will to be done in Danville-Boyle County just as it is in heaven.

The Danville Outreach Event is 6-9:30 p.m. Saturday, July 13. Aprile Hunt, with the Kentucky Prayer Coalition, said, “There are 18 churches and groups who are making these events possible. This particular event will have free food and drinks, as long as it last, and Papa John’s along with others are helping to make this possible.”

Activities will include inflatables, corn hole, frisbee challenge, croquette and face painting.

The One27 House of Prayer Praise Band will be leading worship. Some will share their testimonies of salvation, love and hope. Everyone is encouraged to bring their Bible for the Bible reading across Jackson Park.

Also, participants are invited to bring lawn chairs and blankets. To attend the events, use the Crosshill Road entrance off of Maple Avenue into Jackson Park.

Churches are welcome to set up informational tables. For more information, call (859) 583-7268.
