Ofc. Combs retires from Junction police after 20 years

On Saturday, June 22, a party was held for Junction City Police Officer Allen Douglas Combs, 61, who retired after 20 years of service. The community was invited to the Junction City Community Center. Allen answered his last call on June 30, and will now go 10-7 and end his career as a police officer. Allen was the second constable in the state of Kentucky to graduate from the police academy at the age of 41. Allen is honored to have served with Junction Mayor Jim Douglas, the council members past and present, and the agencies of Boyle County and surrounding.
