Kentucky Gov. Matt Bevin has called the General Assembly into a special session beginning Friday, July 19, to consider a bill that addresses rising pension costs for regional universities and other agencies.

As KET does during regular legislative sessions, live coverage of the special session will air on KETKY, beginning Friday, July 19, at 8 a.m. It will also stream and be archived online at www.KET.org/legislature.

KET’s coverage will continue for the duration of the special session, which is expected to last through the following week.
