RICHMOND – Members of the Eastern Kentucky University football team will report to campus on Friday and have their first preseason practice on Saturday at 9:45 a.m.

 The Colonels will hold 14 practices over a 16-day period.  All practices are scheduled to be held at Roy Kidd Stadium and are open to the public.  Those who attend are asked to sit in the stadium seats.

Scrimmages are scheduled for Saturday, August 10 and Saturday, August 17.

 EKU is ranked 24th in the Preseason HERO Sports top 25 and 25th in the Lindy’s Sports Preseason Top 25.  Eastern Kentucky ended the 2018 season with four straight wins and were in the conversation for a playoff spot.  The Colonels finished 7-4 overall and third in the OVC with a 5-2 mark.
