PRAISE & WORSHIP SUMMER SERIES

Forkland Community Center is hosting the Praise and Worship Summer Series on Saturday, Aug. 3, from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Admission is free and everyone is invited to attend.

Barbara Satterly from Gethsemane Baptist and Dr. Cheryl Erwin with Salt River Baptist have made plans for youth activities, including a ventriloquist sharing the gospel, a barrel train, a county fire truck will be on display for an educational presentation and there will be lots of games including corn hole, frisbee challenge, face painting, bubble blowing, balloon animals and playground activities.

Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, family and friends and enjoy the music, testimonies of God’s love and prayer for community that bring peace to our hearts and land. Churches are welcome to set up informational tables. For more information call (859) 583-7268.

The youth group from Pleasant Run Baptist Church, (JR Fields, pastor) will be selling food and refreshments to raise funds for their youth program.

The 18 churches and groups responsible for making the summer and praise series possible include Calvary Baptist, City of Perryville, Danville Church of God, First Baptist Perryville, Forkland Community Center, Gethsemane Baptist, Junction City 1st Baptist, Junction City United Methodist, Kentucky Prayer Coalition, Main Street Perryville, Inc., Parksville Baptist, Parksville Knob Baptist, Perryville Church of God, Pleasant Run Baptist, Power of Zion Christian, South District Baptist Association, Southern Heights Baptist, and St. James A.M.E.
