[envira-gallery id=”55448″]The 23rd annual Coach Plummer 5K Run-Walk was held on Saturday, August 3 at Danville High School’s cross country track.

The race had 99 participants ranging in age from two to 83.

The fastest overall time belonged to 18 year old Will LaFavers with a time of 19:04.

Jennifer Watson posted a time of 21:38 to finish first amongst female racers.

Will Gentry (41) was the fastest time in the Master division for men, while Bobbie Perkins (42) finished first amongst women in the division. 

In the Grandmaster division, Dave Anderson (54) was the fastest time for men while Patricia Calvert (54) finished first among women.

The race, named after former Danville cross country coach EG Plummer also recognized alumni of DHS. Among the 21 former Admirals participating, Kayla Steber’s time of 24:03 was the fastest, while Russell Cotton’s 24:30 was the best time amongst male alumni.
