Randall Floyd, 77, of Danville, Kentucky died on Friday, August 9, 2019. He was born May 11, 1942 in Stanford, Kentucky to the late Vernon and Maxine Floyd. Randall graduated from Stanford High School and Diesel Tech Institute in Nashville, Tennessee. He grew up helping out in his family’s business, Floyd’s Five and Dime in Stanford. He was co-owner of Floyd’s Cycles, Inc. since 1964. He was a member of Willow Grove Baptist Church in Danville, where he was also a deacon. Randall enjoyed cars, especially Corvettes and getting together with other car enthusiasts. He enjoyed gardening and lawn work. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Randall is survived by his wife, Rose Floyd of 56 plus years; two sons, Dennis (Patricia) Floyd of Ft. Collins, Colorado and Scott (Cristal) Floyd of Danville, Kentucky; a brother, Ronald (Cora) Floyd of Stanford, Kentucky; eight grandchildren, Chelsea (Andrew) Starnes, Hannah Floyd, Emily Floyd, Eli Floyd, Evin Floyd, Katie Floyd, Noah Floyd, Micah Floyd; and one great-grandson, Hudson Starnes.

The funeral service will be 1 p.m., Monday, August 12, 2019 at Willow Grove Baptist Church in Danville. Rev. Johnny Thompson and Rev. Brad King will officiate. Burial to follow at Buffalo Springs Cemetery in Stanford. The Deacons of the church will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be Sunday after 5 p.m. at Willow Grove Baptist Church in Danville.
