Pints for Pets expands, offers cornhole tournament

The Danville-Boyle County Humane Society is getting ready for its sixth annual Pints for Pets Pub Crawl benefit event. This year, an added afternoon bash will kick things off from 1-5 p.m. at Weisiger Park with the event’s first-ever cornhole tournament, complete with live music and activities for kids. The pub crawl begins at 1 p.m. and runs through closing time.

The tournament offers cash prizes for first- and second-place teams. Registration is limited and participants must register teams by Sept. 18.

The cornhole tournament is $40 to enter a team of two people. The Pup Crawl is $25 per person, which includes a special commemorative T-shirt serving at the Pup Crawl ticket, allowing participants access to downtown specials offered during the crawl. There is also a Pints for Pets Pub Crawl + cornhole tournament team package for $140.
