A 17-year-old Lincoln County High School student will be charged in connection to a burglary that occurred in Danville early Monday morning at Puff and Chew Discount Tobacco store on Hustonville Road.

According to Danville Police, officers with the Stanford Police Department searched the suspect’s belongings at the high school and found many of the stolen items from the burglary. They also positively identified him from the surveillance photo that was released.

Police are not working with the Boyle County court designated worker on pursuing charges against the teen.
