Kentucky Utilities to hold public meeting Wednesday over coal residuals in landfills compliance

Kentucky Utilities will hold a public meeting 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11 at the Mercer County Public Library, 109 W. Lexington St. in Harrodsburg. The meeting is being held to receive feedback on KU’s compliance plans with 40 CFR Part 257 Subpart D Standards for Disposal of Coal Combustion Residuals in Landfills and Surface Impoundments for its E.W. Brown Generating Station.
