Boyle County Judge Executive Howard Hunt has scheduled a press conference today at 1 p.m. to address what happened during yesterday’s fiscal court meeting.

The event will be held at the Boyle County Courthouse and the public is invited to attend.

During yesterday’s fiscal court meeting, Magistrate Phil Sammons made a joke about tourism director Jennifer Kirchner’s legs while she was presenting information about the local transient room tax. Kirchner called out Sammons during the meeting, saying, “I’m a professional woman up here talking about tax rates, not to be objectified about my legs.”
